Trends in Mathematics Education in the Revolutionary Era 4.0

Background

Challenges of Indonesian Human Resources in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 demand changes in the education system. In this era, graduates must be more competitive, and the curriculum needs to be oriented towards new literacy that demands Data Literacy, namely the ability to read and analyze, Technology Literacy, namely understanding the application of technology, and Human Literacy, which is to create humanists who can communicate well. Proactively developing professionalism is a must to create innovation based on research information for our education system. We must train our thoughts and views to turn the challenges of education into opportunities. Based on these thoughts, IKIP Siliwangi at the Mathematics Education Study Program invited researchers, practitioners, educators to participate in and contribute to the seminar with the theme “Trends in Mathematics Education in the Revolutionary Era 4.0”.

Publication

We plan to submit all selected and presented papers of the International Seminar on Applied Mathematics and Mathematics Education (ISAMME) 2019 to the Open Access Publisher namely IOP Conference Series: Journal of Physics which normally will be indexed by Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Science (CPCI-S) Thomson Reuters, Web of Science, EI Compendex, and SCOPUS SciVerse. All papers published in IOP Conference Series are fully citable and upon publication will be free to download in perpetuity.
PUBLICATION LICENCE FOR OPEN ACCESS PROCEEDINGS PAPERS. IOP Conference Series operates a publishing license, under which authors retain the copyright of their papers and they no longer need to sign and submit copyright assignment forms. Any author who wishes to publish in IOP Conference Series must agree to the terms of the license and by submitting a paper for publication it is assumed all authors of the paper agree, in full, to the terms of the license. The license terms and conditions are available online.
The application for IOP indexing is currently on the process.
